People don't invest in permanent change in lifestyle. So many people consider a "diet" as something temporary. If they're on a "diet" they restrict themselves a lot they are miserable. Sooner or later failure is inevitable due to the unreasonable demands of all "diets." Some diets force you to only eat food items (e.g., no carbs, special soups etc...) You, like myself, likely have tried them before. The real key to reducing your weight lasting should be to make gradual lifestyle changes you are able to adhere to forever.

With the conflicting information in the media, and all of the different lose weight quick fad diets, it's understandable why so many people really don't know the truth about losing fat and keeping it off long term.
